How are we different?

Jonathan E. Perkins, the Owner and operator of Trees! paducah, LLC is one of only a few ISA Certified Arborists and Tree Risk Assessors in the western-most parts of Kentucky.  

He brings years of experience as an arborist consultant and professional landscape architect to his community and his clients. 

Jonathan is proud to be an active supporter/participant of the Paducah Tree Advisory Board where he presently serves as chairman and proud to be a member and past-president of the Kentucky Arborists' Association. 

He has been a member of the International Society of Arboriculture since 2009 and has been an ISA Certified Arborist since 2011.

As a member of both the tree care and landscape design communities, he adds perspective from multiple angles as it relates to trees and other woody plants.

Qualified per the International Society of Arboriculture's Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ) to evaluate existing tree conditions and potential risk factors

Tree Training

Young trees often need to be trained to improve their form and structure before the develop into mature trees.  Structural training and training for shape and vigor is important to do while trees are young and vigorous.

Tree/Large Shrub-Small Tree Pruning, 

Proper structural pruning, crown cleaning, thinning, crown raising 
We will NOT "TOP" YOUR TREE - So, please don't even ask!  This is bad business!

Soil Decompaction, 

Air excavation with Supersonic Air Knife (by ArborJet) to break up compacted root zones and/or lawn soils.  Typically includes addtion of organic matter to the soil to maintain soil structure

Root Collar Excavations, 

Removal of excess soils/mulch around the base of the tree to expose the beginnings of the root flare | root collar a transitional zone between roots and trunk.  Over-mulching and excess soils often encourage and hide stem-girdling roots which can kill the tree

Selective | Limited Brush Removal & Disposal

Cutting, removal, and disposal (off-site) of  limbs, brush, woody debris

Tree Removals, 

On a tree-by-tree basis as determined by Trees! paducah, llc
